Wars are dramatically disrupting the lives of millions of people, but among the victims, there are also thousands of dogs, cats, and other animals. These animals, and the people desperately trying to take care of them, urgently need help: food, clean water, veterinary drugs, veterinary care, and shelter from the cold.
Through a fundraising campaign, Green Impact has decided to make a concrete contribution.
We support the associations that are active in providing rescue, shelter, food, veterinary aid, and adoptions in territories affected by conflicts and wars. The suffering of animals in conflicts is indescribable. Let’s help them together. With a donation, you can make a difference. Your donation will reach the associations present in the territories affected by conflicts and wars, providing immediate help to animals in need.
Support the campaign and share the project.
The war in Ukraine is dramatically disrupting the lives of millions of people, but among the victims, there are also thousands of dogs, cats, and other animals. Many animals have been taken away by people fleeing, but many have remained in certain facilities or are scattered throughout the area. These animals, and the people who are desperately trying to take care of them, are in urgent need of help: food, clean water, veterinary drugs, veterinary care, and shelter from the cold.
Through an expanding network of local connections and with international organizations, and with the crucial support of Anastasiya, a Ukrainian collaborator, and especially thanks to the initial donations received, we have managed to help the Ukrainian Small Animal Veterinary Association (USAVA), the Happy Paw Foundation for dogs and cats (which in turn supports other shelters for stray animals in Ukraine), the Lviv dog shelter, and a shelter in Dnipro.
But there is still much to be done. With your donation, you will give us the opportunity to reach and increase the fundraising target, now set at 2000 euros, and provide more help to the animals that cannot escape from the war.
